### Methods;
# anvil_from_switch
* Got the code in scan-server to the point where it _should_ now gracefully and automatically detect changes to a server's definition originatin from the database (via Striker), directly editing the on-disk definition file, or editing via libvirt tools (like virt-manager). Still needs to be tested though. * Updated Server->migrate_virsh() to set 'servers' -> 'server_state' to 'migrating' and clear it again once the migation completes. Also added support for cold (frozen) versus live migrations. * Updated Cluster->parse_cib() to check if a server with the server_state set to 'migrating' isn't actually migrating anymore and, if not, to clear that state. This is needed as scan-server will blindly ignore/skip any migrating server, and if a migration call is interrupted, the state could get stuck. * Updated the 'servers' database table (and associated Database methods) to add columns for; ** server_ram_in_use - tracking RAM used by a running server ** server_configured_ram - RAM allocated to a running server (used with the above to alert a user and track _currently_ available RAM) ** server_updated_by_user - To be set by Striker tools to indicate when the user made a change that needs to push out to nodes / running server. ** server_boot_time - Tracks the unixtime when the server booted (to track uptime even if the server migrates across nodes). * Created Get->anvil_name_from_uuid() to easily convert an Anvil! UUID into a name. Also created ->host_uuid_from_name() to translate a host name into a host UUID. * Created Server->get_runtime() that translates a server name into a process ID and then uses that to determine how long (in seconds) it has been running. This is used when a server transitions from 'shut off' to 'running' to determine exactly when the server booted (current time - runtime). * Renamed all 'Server->parse_definition' calls that used 'from_memory' to 'from_virsh' to clarify the data source. * Made scan-hardware smarter about RAM change alerts. * Updated scancore to load agent strings on startup so that processing pending alerts works properly. # anvil_name_from_uuid
# anvil_version
* Created Database->get_bridges() that, surprise, loads data from the 'bridges' table. * Started work on Get->available_resources() that will take an 'anvil_uuid' and figure out what resources are still available for use by new servers or that can be added to existing servers. * Fixed a bug in ScanCore->agent_startup() where tables weren't being generated properly from the agent's SQL file. * Made Storage->change_mode() return silently if it's called without a mode being passed. This happens frequently and is harmless so it's not worth filling the logs with errors. * Renamed the 'start_time' key to 'at_start' when recording files' MD5 sums in Storage->record_md5sums and ->check_md5sums. * When we moved the directory scan logic out of the 'scancore' daemon and into 'Storage->scan_directory', the logic to record scan agent names in 'scancore::agent::<file>' was removed. This broke a few things and, so, it was restored when it was found that a file starts with 'scan-' and the directory matches the scancore agent directory. * Moved the 'scancore' daemon's 'load_agent_strings' to 'Words' * Updated Words->parse_banged_string() to look for variables in the format 'value=X:units=Y' and translate it properly. * Fixed a bug in scan-ipmitool where discovered sensor INSERT SQL queries were queued, but not committed. * Fixed a bug in scan-storcli where a while loop was broken, preventing execution. * Fixed a bug in the 'scancore' daemon where it wouldn't exit if sums changed. Fixed a bug where alerts weren't being sent between loops. Fixed a bug where command-line log level wasn't surviving inside the main loop. Signed-off-by: Digimer <digimer@alteeve.ca>

=head2 anvil_from_switch
This takes a C<< switches::anvil >> switch, which could be a name or UUID, and tries to find the associated Anvil!. If/when found, C<< switches::anvil_uuid >> and C<< switches::anvil_name >> are set accordingly.
If no match is found, two empty strings are returned. If it is found, the Anvil! name is returned first, and the Anvil! UUID is returned after. If there is a problemm C<< !!error!! >> is returned.
Parameters;
=head3 anvil (optional, required, optional if 'switches::anvil' used if set)
This is the Anvil! name or UUID that we're looking for.

Parameters;
=head3 password (optional)
This is the password to use when connecting to a remote machine. If not set, but C<< target >> is, an attempt to connect without a password will be made.
=head3 port (optional)
This is the TCP port to use when connecting to a remote machine. If not set, but C<< target >> is, C<< 22 >> will be used.
=head3 remote_user (optional, default root)
If C<< target >> is set, this will be the user we connect to the remote machine as.
=head3 target (optional)
This is the IP or host name of the machine to read the version of. If this is not set, the local system's version is checked.

* Got the node/dr host initialization form to the point where it can test access and decide if it should show the Red Hat account form. To enable this, we'd have to give apache a shell and an SSH key, which is dumb and dangerous when considered. * Created tools/striker-get-peer-data which is meant to be invoked as the 'admin' user (via a setuid c-wrapper). It collects basic data about a target machine and reports what it finds on STDOUT. It gets the password for the target via the database. * Updated anvil-daemon to check/create/update setuid c-wrapper(s), which for now is limited to call_striker-initialize-host. * Created Anvil/Tools/Striker.pm to store Striker web-specific methods, including get_peer_data() which calls tools/striker-initialize-host via the setuid admin call_striker-initialize-host c-wrapper. * In order to allow striker via apache to read a peer's anvil.version, which it can no longer do over SSH, any connection to a peer where the anvil.version is read is cached as /etc/anvil/anvil.<peer>.version. When Get->anvil_version is called as 'apache', this file is read instead. * Updated Database->resync_databases() and ->_find_behind_databases() to ignore the 'states' table. * Created tools/striker-initialize-host which will be called as a job to initialize a node/dr host. =head2 available_resources
This method looks at the resource used and available on the nodes in a given Anvil! system. The DR's resources are also ready, but don't contribute to the "least available" values.
If either node has no data in the C<< scan_hardware >> table, this method will return with C<< !!no_data!! >>. Callers should abort on this value and remind the user that ScanCore needs to run on both nodes.
Data is store in the following hashes;
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::cpu::cores
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::cpu::threads
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::cpu::available
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::ram::available
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::ram::allocated
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::ram::hardware
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::bridges::<bridge_name>::on_nodes
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::storage_group::<storage_group_uuid>::group_name
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::storage_group::<storage_group_uuid>::vg_size
anvil_resources::<anvil_uuid>::storage_group::<storage_group_uuid>::free_size
All sizes are stored in bytes.

=head2 date_and_time
This method returns the date and/or time using either the current time, or a specified unix time.
NOTE: This only returns times in 24-hour notation.
=head2 Parameters;
=head3 date_only (optional)
If set, only the date will be returned (in C<< yyyy/mm/dd >> format).
=head3 file_name (optional)
When set, the date and/or time returned in a string more useful in file names. Specifically, it will replace spaces with 'C<< _ >>' and 'C<< : >>' and 'C<< / >>' for 'C<< - >>'. This will result in a string in the format like 'C<< yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm-ss >>'.
=head3 offset (optional)
If set to a signed number, it will add or subtract the number of seconds from the 'C<< use_time >>' before processing.
=head3 use_time (optional)
This can be set to a unix timestamp. If it is not set, the current time is used.
=head3 time_only (optional)
If set, only the time will be returned (in C<< hh:mm:ss >> format).
=head3 use_utc (optional)
If set, C<< gmtime >> is used instead of C<< localtime >>. The effect of this is that GMTime (greenwhich mean time, UTC-0) is used instead of the local system's time zone.

=head2 host_type
This method tries to determine the host type and returns a value suitable for use is the C<< hosts >> table. Returned values are;
striker - Striker dashboards
node - Anvil! nodes (active protection of VMs)
dr - DR Hosts (passive DR host targets)
my $type = $anvil->Get->host_type();
First, it looks to see if C<< sys::host_type >> is set and, if so, uses that string as it is.
If that isn't set, it then looks to see if the file C<< /etc/anvil/type.X >> exists, where C<< X >> is C<< node >>, C<< striker >> or C<< dr >>. If found, the appropriate type is returned.
If that file doesn't exist, then it then checks to see which C<< anvil-<type> >> rpm is installed. In order, it looks for C<< anvil-striker >>, then C<< anvil-node >> and finally C<< anvil-dr >>. If one of them is found, the appropriate C<< /etc/anvil/type.X >> is created.

=head2 kernel_release
This returns the kernel release (same output as C<<uname -r>>) on the local or remote host. If there is a problem, C<< !!error!! >> is returned.
Parameters;
This is the IP or host name of the machine to read the kernel release. If this is not set, the local system's kernel release is checked.

=head2 load_average
This reads in the current load average and stores the data in the following hashes;
* loads::load_average::one_minute
* loads::load_average::five_minute
* loads::load_average::ten_minute
* loads::load_average::running_processes
* loads::load_average::total_processes
This tracks the total number of interrupts since boot.
* loads::interrupts::total
This tracks the total PIDs, running PIDs and most importantly, blocked processes.
* loads::processes::total
* loads::processes::running
* loads::processes::blocked
This tracks the percentage time processes spent in certain states (see iostat);
* loads::load_percent::user
* loads::load_percent::steal
* loads::load_percent::idle
* loads::load_percent::nice
* loads::load_percent::system
* loads::load_percent::iowait
This tracks the total time spent on CPU loads, IO wait and IRQ data. Per-CPU core is tracked in matching hashes, with C<< average >> being replaced by C<< loads::cpu::core::<core_number>::X >>.
* loads::cpu::average::user_mode
* loads::cpu::average::user_mode_nice
* loads::cpu::average::system_mode
* loads::cpu::average::idle_tasks
* loads::cpu::average::io_wait
* loads::cpu::average::hard_irq
* loads::cpu::average::soft_irq
This is the number of IO operations in progress. When IOs in progress is non-zero, the weighted time (in 1/100ths of a second), doing those IOs.
* loads::storage::<device_name>::ios_currently_in_progress
* loads::storage::<device_name>::weighted_time_spent_doing_ios
This data comes from C<< /proc/loadavg >>, C<< /proc/stat >>, and C<< /proc/diskstats >>. For more information on these values, please see the relevant kernel documentation.
If there is a problem, C<< 1 >> is returned and the data in the hash will be blank, or stale. If the load averge data is collected successfully, C<< 0 >> is returned.
This method takes no parameters.

=head2 os_type
This returns the operating system type and the system architecture as two separate string variables. This can be called on the local system, or against a remote system.
# Run on RHEL 8, on a 64-bit system
my ($os_type, $os_arch) = $anvil->Get->os_type();
# '$os_type' holds 'rhel8' ('rhel' or 'centos' + release version)
# '$os_arch' holds 'x86_64' (specifically, 'uname --hardware-platform')
If either can not be determined, C<< unknown >> will be returned.
Paramters;
=head3 password (optional)
If C<< target >> is set, this is the password used to log into the remote system as the C<< remote_user >>. If it is not set, an attempt to connect without a password will be made (though this will usually fail).
=head3 port (optional, default 22)
If C<< target >> is set, this is the TCP port number used to connect to the remote machine.
=head3 remote_user (optional, default 'root')
If C<< target >> is set, this is the user account that will be used when connecting to the remote system.
=head3 target (optional)
If set, the os type of the target machine is determined. This must be either an IP address or a resolvable host name.
If not set, the local system's OS type is checked.

=head2 server_from_switch
This takes a C<< switches::server >> switch, which could be a name or UUID, and tries to find the associated server. If/when found, C<< switches::server_uuid >> and C<< switches::server_name >> are set accordingly.
If no match is found, two empty strings are returned. If it is found, the server's name is returned first, and the server's UUID is returned after. If there is a problemm C<< !!error!! >> is returned.
Parameters;
=head4 anvil_uuid (optional)
If specified, the server will be searched for on the specified Anvil! only. If not specified, all Anvil! nodes are searched, with the first match being returned. This should only be needed in the unlikely event that two or more servers share the same name across different Anvil! systems (something that should not be possible).

=head2 switches
This reads in the command line switches used to invoke the parent program.
It takes no arguments, and data is stored in 'C<< $anvil->data->{switches}{x} >>', where 'x' is the switch used.
Switches in the form 'C<< -x >>' and 'C<< --x >>' are treated the same and the corresponding 'C<< $anvil->data->{switches}{x} >>' will contain '#!set!#'.
Switches in the form 'C<< -x foo >>', 'C<< --x foo >>', 'C<< -x=foo >>' and 'C<< --x=foo >>' are treated the same and the corresponding 'C<< $anvil->data->{switches}{x} >>' will contain 'foo'.
The switches 'C<< -v >>', 'C<< -vv >>', 'C<< -vvv >>' and 'C<< -vvvv >>' will cause the active log level to automatically change to 1, 2, 3 or 4 respectively. Passing 'C<< -V >>' will set the log level to '0'.
The switch 'C<< --log-secure >>' will enable logging of "secure" data, like passwords.
Anything after 'C<< -- >>' is treated as a raw string and is not processed.
The switches C<< -h >>, C<< -? >> and C<< --help >> will set the C<< help >> switch to C<< #!set!# >> so that calling program knows to display it's help, if available.
Parameters
=head3 list (optional)
If set to an anonymous array, only switches in the list will be allowed. If a switch is passed that doesn't match an entry in this list, an error message is printed to STDOUT and C<< #!error!# >> is returned.. If this is set but it is not an array reference, C<< #!error!# >> is returned.
B<< NOTE >>: The always-supported switches described above are allowed regardless of the contents of the C<< list >> parameter.
=head3 man (optional)
This is the name of the man page for the calling program. If C<< --help >> and C<< man >> are set, the man page will be displayed to the user, and then exit when the program returns.
B<< NOTE >>: The always-supported switches described above are allowed regardless of the contents of the C<< list >> parameter.
